Community Guidelines and Safety
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Drawzu is about drawing, guessing and laughing together with players from all over the world. These guidelines keep it fun and safe for everyone. They are part of our Terms of Use.
1. Be kind
Everyone draws badly sometimes — that is the fun. Cheer for good guesses, be patient with new players and keep chat about the game.
2. Not allowed
- Insults, harassment, bullying, threats or targeting a player again and again.
- Sexual or obscene drawings, words or nicknames.
- Hate speech or discrimination of any kind.
- Violence, self-harm, drugs or terrorism glorified in drawings or chat.
- Personal information: phone numbers, addresses, social media, messaging apps, school names — your own or anyone else's — or asking for it.
- Asking to meet in person, flirting with or pressuring other players, especially minors.
- Spam, ads, links, scams or pretending to be someone else (including Drawzu staff).
- Cheating: writing letters or the answer on the drawing, telling the answer in chat, using several accounts or cheat tools.
- False or revenge reports.
3. Stay safe
- Never share personal information, even if someone seems friendly. Drawzu staff will never ask for your password or personal details in chat.
- Do not move conversations to other apps and never agree to meet someone you know only from the game.
- Players under 13 play in safe mode: free chat is hidden, only guesses count, and friends can add them only with their code.
- Some players in public rooms may be computer players; they never ask for personal information.
- If something makes you uncomfortable, leave the room, block the player and report it.
4. How to report
- A player: in a game, tap the player's avatar > "Report player" and choose a reason.
- A message: long-press the message > "Report message".
- A drawing: tap the flag button below the canvas > "Report drawing".
- Anything else (for example a nickname you saw on the leaderboard, or a problem outside a game): Settings > Contact us / Feedback > "Report abuse", or the contact form.
5. Block and mute
- Mute: tap the avatar > "Mute". Their messages are hidden on your screen only.
- Block: tap the avatar or long-press their message > "Block". Their messages are hidden and they can no longer send you friend requests or game invites. You can unblock in the same menu.
- Your own message: long-press it > "Delete message" to remove it for everyone.
- Friend requests: in Settings > Privacy you can allow requests from everyone, only by code, or nobody.
6. What happens after a report
- Automatic filters already block many insults, links and personal information before anyone sees them, in 8 languages. Writing on drawings is detected on the device and the turn is cancelled.
- Each report is checked right away by rules and an AI classifier (Anthropic Claude). Only the reported content is sent for this check, without player IDs or IP addresses.
- If several different players report the same person, their chat is muted for 15 minutes straight away.
- We review reports within 24 hours and act on violations. We remove content and, where needed, apply a penalty.
- The reported player is not told who reported them.
7. Penalties
- 1st violation: warning; 2nd violation: final warning (both shown in the app).
- Further violations within 30 days: suspension for 1 day (3rd), 3 days (4th), then 7 days (5th and later). Serious violations (sexual content, hate, fishing for personal information) count double.
- Repeated insults caught by the automatic filter: temporary chat or account suspension (longer each time).
- Drawing violations: temporary drawing ban.
- Serious violations (threats, sexual content involving minors, attempts to contact minors): immediate permanent closure and, where required, a report to the authorities.
- Players who make false reports again and again get a warning and may temporarily lose the ability to report.
8. Appeals
If you think a warning or suspension was a mistake, write to us through the contact form or in the app (Settings > Contact us / Feedback) with your ticket or player name. We will look at it again.
9. If someone is in danger
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (112 in the EU and Türkiye). Then report the player in the app so we can act and, where required, inform the authorities.
